Terms and Conditions
Course Completion and Certification:

The course will become available for participants at 00:00 IST on 1st July 2025 and must be completed by 17:00 IST 18th July 2025.

Please ensure you are available to complete the course within the selected dates before purchasing.

Participants can complete the course at their own pace, but all coursework and assessments must be fully completed within the specified timeframe.

Participants will not be able to access online course content after the course end date. It is the responsibility of the participant to save any downloadable materials or resources they wish to retain after the course has concluded.

Participants must log engagement time through automated tracking of time spent on course materials and self-reported learning logs. A minimum of 10 hours online and 10 hours of self-verified study is necessary to complete the course.

Tutor will actively monitor discussions and engagement levels to ensure meaningful participation. Participants must meet all course requirements, including forum engagement, assessments, and logged learning hours, to receive certification.

Certificates are issued electronically with unique verification codes and are signed by the course tutor.
EPV Days:

Successful completion of the course will make you eligible to apply for 3 EPV days, subject to the approval of your school’s Board of Management.

Please note that under Department of Education guidelines, teachers may not complete two EPV courses concurrently. You must complete one course fully before beginning another. Your course certificate will include the date of commencement and completion.
Payment and Refund Policy:

Payment of the course fee secures your place on the course.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Technical Assistance:

A support team is available via email for technical assistance, with response times within 24 hours while the course is operational. Please contact traumainformedteachercourse@gmail.com for technical support.

Participants will have access to a troubleshooting guide covering common technical issues related to platform navigation, video playback, and assignment submission.
Participant Assessment and Feedback:

Participants must contribute to the discussion forum at the end of each module and submit classroom audits, and action plans to demonstrate their learning.

The Tutor will provide detailed, constructive feedback on assignments, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.

Peer assessment is encouraged, all participants must comment on the post of at least 2 other participants, allowing them to provide feedback on each other’s work and gain multiple perspectives.
Plagiarism and Impersonation Policy:

Participants are required to submit original work, with plagiarism detection tools used to check assignments. If plagiarism is detected, the participant will receive a warning and may be subject to removal from the course.

Participants must verify their identity using email registration and secure login credentials.

Assignments and assessments will be monitored for consistency in writing style and engagement levels to detect potential impersonation. Any suspicion of impersonation or fraudulent activity will result in an immediate investigation, potentially leading to course suspension.
Procedures for Handling Complaints:

Complaints are taken seriously and we endeavour to improve the learning processes and services by listening to, responding to, recording and resolving learner’s dissatisfaction. The following principles reflect our commitment to resolving complaints as quickly as possible with emphasis on local resolution. Participants should feel free to raise concerns without risk of disadvantage.
